Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how IntentQ (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit getintentq.com or use the IntentQ service.

Categories of personal information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), role and team membership.
  • Business information: company name, website, industry, services, ideal customers, service area and audience preferences.
  • Monitoring preferences: mission names, keywords, exclusion terms, locations and source choices.
  • Public social and business information found by the Service (see below).
  • Opportunity and outcome data: statuses, notes, expected close dates, appointments and revenue you record.
  • Billing information: plan, add-ons and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by IntentQ.
  • Communications: messages you send to support or through our contact form.
  • Technical information: basic log data such as browser type, pages requested and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

Public social and business information

To provide the Service, IntentQ processes content that people and businesses have made publicly available online, such as public posts, comments or videos and their public author names or handles, links and dates. We do not access private groups, private messages or password-protected content, and we do not try to identify the real-world identity behind social accounts.

Conversation records and opportunity data

When public content matches a mission, we store a record of it — a summary, the source link, matched signals, a score and the date found — as an opportunity in your account. Your team's actions on it (status changes, notes and outcomes) are stored with a history of changes.

B2B and B2C opportunity information

Opportunities may relate to individual consumers or to businesses. We label them as a person looking for a service, a business looking for a service, or a possible business prospect. These labels are automated estimates and may be wrong.

AI-assisted classification and analysis

We use automated and AI-assisted tools to summarize content, classify and score opportunities and suggest setup options. These tools process mission settings and public content to produce results for your account. Outputs are suggestions that you review; they are not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals.

Purposes of processing

  • Providing, operating and maintaining the Service.
  • Finding, classifying and delivering opportunities that match your missions.
  • Reporting on your results.
  • Sending opportunities to your CRM when you ask us to.
  • Billing and account administration.
  • Responding to support requests.
  • Protecting the security and integrity of the Service and complying with law.

Third-party service providers

We use service providers to operate IntentQ, in categories including cloud hosting and database services, user authentication, AI model processing, payment processing, and access to supported public data sources. They process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services.

CRM OAuth authorization

When an account admin connects a CRM such as GoHighLevel, the CRM asks you to approve specific permissions. IntentQ receives access keys limited to those permissions and to the account you select. We do not receive your CRM password.

Authorized CRM data transfers

IntentQ sends data to your CRM only when someone on your team chooses Send to CRM for an opportunity. The data sent includes the opportunity's details, such as the public name or handle, source link, summary and an IntentQ reference. There is no automatic synchronization. Once data is in your CRM, it is governed by your CRM provider's terms and your own practices.

Security of stored integration credentials

CRM access keys are encrypted before storage, kept separate from your other data and are not accessible to customer users. Disconnecting a CRM deletes its stored access keys.

Information sharing and disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with our service providers as described above; with your CRM when you choose to send data; with your teammates within your company account; if required by law or to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Cookies and analytics

The IntentQ website currently sets no analytics or advertising cookies. When you sign in, your browser stores the information needed to keep you logged in. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

Data retention

We keep account and opportunity information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. A record of changes to opportunities and settings is kept for accountability.

Data deletion requests

To request deletion of your account or personal information, email support@getchatterq.com from your account email. We will verify your request and respond, subject to information we must keep for legal, security or accounting reasons.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. If your public content appears in IntentQ and you would like it removed, contact us. To make a request, email support@getchatterq.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Third-party platform limitations

Public content originates on third-party platforms with their own privacy policies. Deleting content from IntentQ does not delete it from the original platform, and content removed from a platform may remain in IntentQ records until it is deleted.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.

Children's privacy

IntentQ is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security practices

We use safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls that keep each company's data separate, role-based permissions, encrypted storage of integration credentials and records of sensitive changes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Policy updates

We may update this policy and will post the new version with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice.
