FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is IntentQ?
IntentQ is a buying-intent discovery and sales intelligence platform. It's designed to find online conversations where people and businesses describe a need for what you offer, explain why each one may matter, and bring relevant opportunities into one workspace where your team reviews them and decides how to follow up.
How is this different from buying a lead list?
A lead list starts with people who fit a profile and might be interested. IntentQ starts with conversations where someone has already described a need, so each opportunity comes with the original request, its context, location and a plain-English reason it may matter. Lead lists and outbound still have their place; IntentQ adds a different starting point.
Which platforms does IntentQ search?
IntentQ is designed to work only with conversation sources it can access within each platform's terms and with the permissions required. We're still confirming those sources, so we don't list any platform as supported yet, and we won't until access is approved and verified. Every example on this website is simulated.
Does a high score mean someone will buy from me?
No. A score estimates how clearly a conversation expresses a need your business serves. Someone asking for a roofer is interested in roofing, not necessarily in your company, and no score guarantees a sale. That's why every opportunity is explained and reviewed by people before anyone acts on it.
What is an Active Search Mission?
A mission is one ongoing discovery goal, such as 'homeowners asking for roof repairs around Charlotte'. You describe the service, the customers, the area and the buying signals, and IntentQ organizes discovery around it. A mission is not one group, ZIP code, search run or opportunity. You can target local, regional, national or international audiences, subject to the sources actually available.
How much does IntentQ cost?
There are three monthly plans. They differ by how many Active Search Missions and user seats they include, and you can add extra missions or seats monthly. There are no per-lead charges, opportunity credits, prepaid packs or geographic market limits. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
What if my industry or area has fewer conversations?
Some industries and areas simply have fewer public conversations. IntentQ focuses on relevance over volume, and you're never charged per opportunity. We don't guarantee a minimum number of opportunities for any industry or location.
Who reviews opportunities before I see them?
Potential matches start as candidates. They're reviewed before they become Opportunities in your workspace, so noise, duplicates and poor fits are set aside. Your team then decides which opportunities to pursue and how.
Does it send messages automatically?
No. IntentQ doesn't post, comment or message on your behalf on social platforms. Suggested responses are drafts that a person on your team reviews, edits and decides whether to use. Outreach and appointment-setting features require your setup, the right connections and your approval, and live sending and booking are not switched on.
Can it connect to my CRM?
Today you can export approved opportunities as a CSV file and manage stages and follow-ups inside IntentQ. Native CRM integrations are planned and will be listed only once they're live and verified.
What are Quinn and Alice?
Quinn is IntentQ's AI intelligence assistant, planned to help you set up missions, understand why an opportunity matters, research context and draft responses for your approval. Alice is the default name of the AI Appointment Setter, a separately controlled service you can rename and configure. Neither contacts anyone without the required permissions, connections and your approval.
Is it for B2C and B2B?
Yes. The same platform adapts to your industry, audience, location and buying signals, whether you're a local roofer looking for homeowners or a software company looking for teams evaluating tools.
Does it identify people behind anonymous social accounts?
No. IntentQ does not attempt to unmask or identify the real people behind anonymous or pseudonymous social accounts. Anonymous website visitor identification, a separate category of tools for your own website traffic, is a different thing entirely and is not the same as social identity resolution.
